This page provides a deep dive into how a single specific URL (or YouTube video) performs across AI platforms. It helps you understand exactly how often and where a specific page is being cited, what prompts trigger it to appear, and how AI models are using it. For standard web pages, it shows citation trends, platform-specific breakdowns, the individual AI responses that cited the page, and the different tracking parameters AIs append to the link. For YouTube videos, it adds specialized insights into the channel/creator and the specific timestamps AIs use to link into the video. What’s on the page
Page Header
The top bar shows a breadcrumb trail (e.g.,Sources / example.com / ...) with a back arrow to return to the domain’s main overview. The full URL of the page you are analyzing truncates to fit the screen; hovering over it reveals the complete address, and clicking it opens the live page in a new browser tab.
Contextual filter row
A sticky bar of filter chips that lets you slice the data shown on this page by Date Range, Models, Competitors, Personas, Locations, Countries, Prompts, Attributes, and Response Search. You can also save and load combinations using the Saved Views menu.Lens Tabs
A row of tabs (Overview, Responses, Parameters, and for YouTube videos, Creators and Timestamps) that switch the main content area between different views of the URL’s data. To the right of the tabs is a search box (which filters the active table) and an Export as CSV button.
Overview Tab

- Competitors Mentioned: Logos of competitor brands mentioned in the response. Hovering shows the names, and a
+Nindicator appears if there are many. - Sources: Whether the response has any displayable cited sources (Yes/No).
- Cited: Whether your brand’s own content was cited as a source in this response (Yes/No).
- Attributed Citation: Whether the citation counts as an attributed citation (Yes/No).
- Market Position: The numeric rank of your brand among the mentioned entities. Highlighted differently when your brand is #1.
- Sentiment: The sentiment of the brand mention (Positive, Neutral, Negative, None, or No data).
- Prompt Type: Indicates if the prompt was Branded or Non-Branded.
- Prompt: The base prompt text that produced the response.
- Prompt Variation: The specific worded variation of the prompt that was actually sent.
- Personas: Any personas associated with the response.
- Attributes: Any positive or negative attributes detected in the response.
- Response: The full raw text of the AI’s response.
- Country: A country flag representing the geography of the prompt/response.
- Location: Specific location tags associated with the response (only visible if your plan includes location-based tracking).
Parameters Tab
Available only for base URLs (URLs without existing tracking parameters). Breaks the URL down into its distinct tracking variants. Parameters Table Columns:- URL: The base URL plus the specific parameter suffix (e.g.,
?utm_source=chatgpt). Features a clickable link out to the live page and a bar chart icon to open a new Page Analytics view specifically for that parameter variant. - Responses: The number of AI responses citing this exact URL variant.
- Share: The percentage share this variant makes up among all the URL’s variants.
Creators Tab (YouTube only)
Groups the cited YouTube videos by their creator or channel. Creators Table Columns:- Creator: The channel or author name. Includes an external link icon to open their YouTube channel. A chevron icon lets you expand the row to see their specific videos.
- Citations: Total citations across all of this creator’s cited videos. (Tooltip: “Total number of citations across all videos from this creator”).
- Avg. citation rate: The average citation percentage across the creator’s videos. (Tooltip: “Average citation percentage across all videos”).
- Videos: The count of distinct videos from this creator that were cited.
- Video: The video title, linking out to YouTube. Includes a bar chart icon to view analytics for that specific video.
- Citations: The number of citations for the specific video.
- Citation rate: The citation percentage for the specific video.
- First seen: The date the video was first observed as a citation.
Timestamps Tab (YouTube only)
Provides insights into exactly when during a video AI models are linking users.- Timestamp use by platform: A stacked bar chart showing how many times each AI model linked to the video with a timestamp versus without a timestamp.
- Videos with timestamps: A donut chart showing the overall share of unique cited videos that include a timestamp across their variants.
- Video: The video title, linking to YouTube. Includes a bar chart icon to open analytics for that specific timestamped variant.
- Prompt: The text of the prompt that generated the citation.
- Timestamp: The exact time parameter (e.g.,
t=45) extracted from the cited link. - Citations: The number of citations for this timestamped link.
- Citation %: The citation percentage for this timestamped link.
What you can do here
- Change lenses: Click the tabs (
Overview,Responses,Parameters,Creators,Timestamps) to switch between different data views for the URL. - Filter data: Use the filter bar at the top to narrow down the data (e.g., view only citations from ChatGPT).

Common support questions
Why don’t I see the “Parameters” tab? The Parameters tab is only available when you are viewing a base URL (a clean link with no tracking codes). If you have already drilled down into a specific parameterized URL (for example, one ending in?utm_source=chatgpt), the Parameters tab is hidden because you are already looking at a specific variant.
Why does the YouTube video URL look different than the one I clicked?
Athena automatically groups different formatting variations of the same YouTube video (like youtu.be short links, /shorts/, or mobile links) into its standard canonical format (youtube.com/watch?v=...). This ensures you see all the metrics for that video combined in one place rather than split across multiple URLs.
Why do I get asked to upgrade when I click Export as CSV?
Downloading CSV exports from the Page Analytics view requires a paid subscription plan. If you are on the Free plan, clicking the export button will open a dialog showing our available plans.
Why is my citation trend chart missing a day?
If there were zero AI responses generated on a specific day for your filtered criteria, that day is intentionally dropped from the trend chart rather than plotting a 0%. Because no responses were gathered, the citation rate is technically undefined (0 out of 0).
