# Pitch Workspace Usage

> Shows the organization's Pitch Report quota consumption: how many pitches have been used and how many remain, so users can track their plan limits.

</Card>

## Purpose

This page allows customers to monitor their organization's Pitch Report quota consumption. Because pitch generation is capped based on the customer's subscription plan, this page serves as a transparent tracker showing exactly how many pitches have been created and how many are still available.

Customers typically visit this page before beginning a new pitch project to ensure they have enough remaining quota, or to quickly verify the structural limits of an individual pitch report.

## What's on the page

**Pitch Usage Details Card**
This main card displays the current consumption of pitch reports for the organization. For customers on limited plans, it shows a visual progress bar indicating the percentage of the quota used. The progress bar dynamically changes color to help signal usage thresholds:

* **Indigo:** 0% to 32% used
* **Purple:** 33% to 65% used
* **Orange:** 66% to 100% used

Below the bar, numeric counters spell out exactly how many pitches have been used and how many are left. If the customer is on a plan with unlimited pitches, the progress bar is hidden. Instead, a large "Unlimited" label is shown alongside a count of the total pitches created so far.

**About Pitch Reports Info Card**
This smaller informational card lives on the right side of the screen. It provides a brief summary of the strict limits that apply to any individual pitch report:

* Analyze up to 10 competitors per pitch
* Include up to 10 custom prompts

## What you can do here

This is a read-only dashboard. There are no interactive actions, buttons, or drilldowns here. Customers use this page purely for visibility into their limits.

## Data shown

The usage data displayed here is sourced from the organization's subscription plan (billing entity). It tallies up the total number of pitches that have been generated across the entire organization, comparing that count against the maximum number allowed by their current plan tier.

## Common workflows

**Check remaining pitch quota**

1. Navigate to the Pitch Workspace using the main left-hand sidebar.
2. Click into the **Usage** sub-navigation page.
3. View the progress bar and the "used / left" counters to understand your remaining quota.

**Understand plan limits before creating a pitch**

1. Open the Usage page to see how many overall pitches your organization can still generate.
2. Read the "About Pitch Reports" card to confirm the constraints for the specific report you want to build (maximum 10 competitors and 10 custom prompts).
3. Return to the main Pitch Workspace tab to create your new pitch, knowing exactly what constraints apply.

## Empty, loading, and error states

* **Loading:** While the system checks the organization's billing and subscription data, users will see gray skeleton placeholders where the label, progress bar, and statistics normally appear.
* **Error:** If there is a temporary hiccup communicating with the billing service, an amber-colored error message will appear reading: *"Couldn't verify pitch quota: please refresh."*
* **Empty / No Access:** If the user manages to navigate here but their organization's plan does not include Pitch Workspace access, a gray message will appear stating: *"Pitch workspace access is not available for your organization."*

## Common support questions

**Why is my progress bar orange?**
The progress bar changes color based on how close you are to your limit. It turns orange once your organization has consumed 66% or more of your total allocated pitch quota.

**What are the limits for a single Pitch Report?**
Each individual Pitch Report can track up to 10 competitors and include up to 10 custom prompts. This is noted on the right-hand information card on the Usage page.

**Why does my usage just say "Unlimited"?**
If you see an "Unlimited" label instead of a progress bar, it means your organization's subscription plan does not place a cap on the total number of Pitch Reports you can generate.

**I got an error saying "Couldn't verify pitch quota". What should I do?**
This happens when there is a brief communication delay with our billing service. Simply refresh the page to reload your quota details.
